This Privacy Policy explains how Wonderix Co., Ltd. ("Wonderix", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information across the Wonderix website (wonderix.com), our early-access waitlist, and the Wonderix app and related services (together, the "Service"). Wonderix is a game-based-learning service for children roughly ages 5–8, designed to be used with a parent or guardian. We care deeply about children's privacy and have built the Service to align with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR's protections for children (GDPR-K).

2. This website & the waitlist

This public website and the early-access waitlist are intended for parents, guardians, and other adults. The only personal information we collect through the waitlist is the email address you choose to give us, which we use solely to contact you about early access to Wonderix. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website — please don't submit a child's information here.

3. Children's privacy — COPPA & GDPR-K

Because Wonderix is made for young children, protecting their data is central to how we built it:

Verifiable parental consent first. We obtain a parent or guardian's verifiable consent before a child uses Wonderix or before we collect any personal information from a child, as required by COPPA and GDPR-K.
Only what's needed. We practice data minimization — we collect only the information a child needs to play and learn, and we never require more than is reasonably necessary to participate.
No selling, no ads to kids. We never sell or rent children's personal information, and we never use it for behavioral or targeted advertising. Children are not shown third-party ads.
Parents stay in control. A parent can review their child's information, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent (which stops any further collection) at any time — just email hello@wonderix.com.
EU/UK children (GDPR-K). For children in the EU, UK, or EEA, our lawful basis for processing a child's personal data is the consent of the holder of parental responsibility, and we honor the rights described in section 9.

4. Information we collect in the Service

When the Wonderix app launches, and with the parental consent described above, we may collect:

Parent/guardian account information — such as email and name, used to set up and secure the family account.
Limited child information — a first name or nickname, an age or grade band, and the child's gameplay and learning progress, so the tutor can teach at the right level and show parents what their child learned.
What the child does in a game — the answers and choices they make during play, and what they say to their Wonder Friend, used to run the game and adapt it.
Usage and technical data — basic log, device, and reliability data about how the Service is used.

5. How we use information

Provide, operate, and secure the Service, including the AI "Wonder Friend" tutors.
Teach at the right level and show parents their child's real learning progress.
Keep the Service safe and reliable, and provide support.
Communicate with parents about the Service.

6. AI tutors and your child

Wonderix's "Wonder Friends" are AI tutors. Each one always tells your child it is an AI. We process what a child does and says only to run and improve the Service. We do not sell children's data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

7. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only in limited cases: with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and infrastructure) who process it on our behalf and under our instructions; and where required by law or to protect the safety of our users and the Service.

8. Storage, security & retention

Information is stored on infrastructure operated by our service providers and may be processed in data centres outside your country of residence. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing or request portability. Parents may exercise these rights on behalf of their child and may withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email hello@wonderix.com.

10. Changes to this policy

Wonderix is in active development. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; when we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
